WPP identity consultancy expands in Latin America

CARACAS--Enterprise Identity Group, WPP's international consultancy for corporate identity, brands and marketing, is opening an office in Caracas to serve the Community of Andean Nations and the southern Caribbean.

Enterprise IG President Jim Johnson and his executive staff were recently in Caracas to acquaint the Venezuelan business community with the group's services. More than 20 presentations reached firms from finance, mass consumer goods and airlines to petroleum, energy and telecommunications.

Enterprise IG will operate from the J. Walter Thompson Co. offices in Caracas from July. While the consultancy is known worldwide for its work for clients such as Hilton, Gillette, Monsanto, Avis and Diet Coke, in the emerging markets of Asia and Latin America it has also become a specialist in small and medium-sized companies.
