WRG clears Sklaver

Published on .

Wells Rich Greene BDDP, New York, and former President David Sklaver issued a joint statement Wednedsay clearing Mr. Sklaver of "knowingly engag[ing] in wrongful conduct." Mr. Sklaver resigned in April 1995 amid a scandal involving the misappropriation of $500,000 in WRG BDDP funds. Chief Financial Officer Tom Fagan was fired at the same time. The statement came as a surprise to executives close to the agency, who had anticipated a possible financial settlement with Mr. Sklaver but nothing more.
