U.S.-based Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. has launched the sugar-free chewing gum brand "Extra" in China at double the price of its ordinary gum. The product, which is imported from the U.S., is selling in Chinese supermarkets at $4.80 for a pack of 20, each of which contain five sticks of gum. Industry watchers believe it will do well, however, because of the growing number of Chinese concerned about their health.
