WSJ Interactive to offer Korn/Ferry service

Published on .

The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition's job site June 8 enters a strategic alliance with executive recruiter Korn/Ferry International. Companies that place ads on careers.wsj.com now can have their job responses managed by Futurestep, a division of Korn/Ferry. Job seekers can register for free at Futurestep or careers.wsj.com. Their resumes will be matched with suitable job openings. Futurestep said it is focusing on mid-level management and can fill positions in 30 days or less, compared to the average executive search, which lasts up to six months. Services will be tiered, from a full-blown search and placement for the usual one-third compensation fee, to $5,000 for processing job responses electronically.
