Y&R gets Foxtel account in Australia

Published on .

The Young & Rubicam Group has won the $13 million Foxtel pay-TV account in Australia, following one of the year's most extensive and hard-fought reviews. The win means Foxtel's consolidated communications business will be fully integrated into the Y&R Group, with its customer relationship management agency Impiric already handling Foxtel's online and off-line customer acquisition programs. Originally, 14 agencies pitched for the account, which was formerly with Whybin Lawrence TBWA.
