Y&R hunts for worldwide creative director

Y&R Advertising has initiated a search for a worldwide creative director. Agency President Linda Srere is heading up the initiative to find a successor to Ted Bell. Mr. Bell left this summer. At the time, Y&R Inc. Chairman-Chief Creative Officer Ed Vick said he expected Mr. Bell to return saying that he also expected him "to play a pivotal role in making Young & Rubicam, the best global agency in the business, in the next year and a half." However, Mr. Bell, who had been with Y&R since 1992, will not be returning to the agency
