Following the acquisition of MyRice earlier this year, Lycos ranked among mainland China's top 20 properties list for the first time and now is among the top 20 companies by home audience reach in all three greater China markets.
In February, the yahoo.com domain drew the fifth-largest home audience of any domain in mainland China, its highest-ever ranking since measurement began last year. Also in mainland China, the audience reach for the online-retail sector grew significantly, with domains such as 800buy.com.cn and my8848.net (which are not in the top 20) gaining approximately 50% more visitors each, said Bega Ng, iamasia's director of analysis. -- Normandy Madden
