Yahoo! kicks off synchronized calendar

Yahoo! and Starfish Software released a beta version of TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!, a free synchronization service that enables users to enter data once and access it over the Web. Using Yahoo! Calendar, Yahoo! Address Book and Yahoo! To Do List, users can pick up information via Microsoft Outlook and 3Com Palm devices.

Yahoo! also announced several ad and content deals. Network Solutions expanded its relationship with Yahoo! becoming a premier merchant on the portal and providing Web registration services for .com, .net and .org domain names. Yahoo! also announced it has partnered with video retailers VideoServe.com and Reel.com to provide content in its Entertainment categories on Yahoo!, Netscape Guide by Yahoo! and the Visa Shopping Guide by Yahoo!
