Yellow pages to soon list URLs

Published on .

Advertisers seeking new offline ways to get their URLs onto consumers' browsers will be able to list their e-mail and Web addresses in their regional yellow pages beginning later this year, said James Logan, president of the Yellow Pages Publishers Association. Mr. Logan said most yellow pages sales executives at all the companies in his organization are now also offering--for a slight extra charge--the option for companies to list Web addresses along with phone numbers.
