'New New York Post' publisher

Ken Chandler, 52, editor in chief of the New York Post, was named publisher by Rupert Murdoch, News Corp. chairman. He succeeds Martin Singerman, who will retire after serving five and a half years as publisher and twenty six years as a News Corp. executive. Deputy Editor Xana Antunes assumes the title of acting editor, in charge of day to day operations in the news room.
