Z-D says circulation strong

Ziff-Davis Publishing Co. said paid circulation of its eight computer magazines grew 33% during the past year to reach 5 million worldwide. This includes a 31% increase in the U.S. to more than 4.2 million as well as a 48% increase outside the U.S. to 800,000. For the six-month period ended in June, paid circulation of its U.S. magazines increased by more than 1 million over a year ago. This included two new consumer magazines, FamilyPC (published with Walt Disney Co.) and Computer Life.
