Zenith media search on

Published on .

Zenith USA is searching for a new president-CEO after the departure this week of former president-CEO William Grimes. John Perriss, chairman of Zenith Media Worldwide, said it was probably a mistake to have hired Mr. Grimes because he did not have a media background. Mr. Grimes is best known for heading up ESPN in its nascent days. The new candidate must be well-versed in media, Mr. Perriss said, and, could be recruited from an ad agency or media independent. Zenith, a unit of London-based Cordiant plc, is the media buying arm of Bates Worldwide and Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide.
