Zing rings up cable partners

Zing Systems on Thursday will announce that it has signed agreements with Tele-Communications Inc., Comcast Corp. and Continental Cablevision to distribute Zing's interactive TV signals. The cable companies will integrate Zing hardware into their set-top boxes, allowing viewers to interact with programming. Zing currently has 12 cable networks committed to using its programming, including USA Network, Family Channel and Discovery Channel. Zing plans to launch in the fall.
