Published on .

U.S. News & World Report owner Mort Zuckerman and Snyder Communications owner Dan Snyder have joined with New York City banker Howard Milstein to make a $700 million all-cash preemptive bid for the Washington Redskins National Football League team and its stadium, the Washington Post reported today. The newspaper said the purchase price, which is good for one week, would be the highest price ever paid for a U.S. sports franchise and its stadium.
