Absolut Goes to Japan

Published on .

The legendary Absolut brand is no longer the sole province of professional art directors and copywriters, thanks to the Absolut Metropolis project. The online initiative of the famous vodka follows famed Absolut photographer Nadav Kandar as he journeys to the other side of the world and plucks 11 creative—but non-professional—personalities off the streets of Tokyo to interpret the Absolut brand through their uniquely innovative and individual fashions. A visit to the website exposes viewers to a subway map connecting all 11 of the amateur fashionistas, along with interviews, downloads and even behind-the-scenes videos of the making of the Absolut outfits.
