Brown vs. Bear

FedEx "Top Ten"
As AdAge.com reports, a UPS complaint regarding FedEx's Super Bowl commercial, "Top Ten," is headed to the Federal Trade Commission after FedEx declined to participate in a review before the Council of Better Business Bureau's National Advertising Division. At issue in the tongue-in-cheek commercial -- which, you may recall, co-stars a dancing bear -- is a scene where celebrity spokesman Burt Reynolds looks at the camera and says, "FedEx: The most reliable way to send your package." UPS is apparently questioning whether or not Mr. Reynolds technically qualifies as a "celebrity."
