The San Francisco Examiner offers a modest proposal to make up for the revenues lost last week when Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig put the kibosh on a plan to place Spider-Man 2 logos on the bases at 15 major league ballparks. The plan calls for Selig himself to be rechristened "Budweiser Selig, King of Baseball." Meanwhile, Advertising Age executive editor Jonah Bloom offers a dissenting opinion on BaseGate.
