Milwaukee Agency Tests Radio Reception

Published on .

Milwaukee agency BVK recently created an interesting web-borne campaign for Milwaukee Area Radio Stations, Inc. (MARS). To demonstrate the power of radio advertising, the agency ran radio ads for ridiculous products -- like Ghandi Gone Wild and an all-gravy diet -- that drove listeners to correspondingly ridiculous websites. See the sites at webreaklegs.com, gravydiet.com and gandhigonewild.com. All the click-throughs, however, go to a gotcha message -- "Now you know how effective radio advertising can be" -- and link users back to the MARS website, where you can find all the details about the campaign.
