Tom Mullen, a Winston-Salem-based copywriter whose resume includes stints at TBWA/Chiat/Day/San Francisco and Wieden + Kennedy/Portland, has launched a funky new website for his micro-agency Exit3a. "The creative department has left the agency," he declares at the top of the free-form Flash site
, which announces the launch of what Mullen describes as an "agency, kinda." Exit3a consists of Mullen and art director/designer Willy Sions, who launched the venture to encourage clients to take their particular off-ramp. "What we're trying to do is freelance for agencies and clients, so we can just push ahead with ideas," Mullen says.
