Honda spokesrobot Asimo has taken over the automaker's website, with daily webcasts acquainting the public with the curious biped before his big commercial debuts Friday. Shot by Gorgeous' Peter Thwaites (who also lensed Honda spot "Sense" for Wieden+Kennedy/London) in several Berlin museums, the spot continues with Honda's commitment to "The Power of Dreams." From what we can scour from the web teasers, it'll show Asimo (short for "Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility") interacting with human artifacts in an attempt to demonstrate its potential benefit to human society. This isn't Asimo's first TV commercial—it appeared in a spot titled "Garage" directed by Pedro Romhanyi in 2002—though in four years it may have gotten better at acting.
