ON THE WEB: More Museum Music

Published on .

A new track has emerged from Fallon/London's TateTracks.org, a campaign created to attract younger audiences to Britain's Tate Museum. Composed by Blur's Graham Coxon, the latest museum mash-up is inspired by Franz Kline's Meryon. As reported in the October issue of Creativity, TateTracks.org was created when Fallon invited musicians like Roll Deep, Coxon, Estelle, the Landscapers, Klaxon, the Union of Knives, Long Blondes and the Chemical Brothers to wander the museum and create a track inspired by a piece of artwork of their choice. Each track will be exclusively heard at the Tate for a month, before subsequently being released on the web site.
