Worried about losing touch with the youth of today? Well get the hell into Virtual Laguna Beach, man! The site, created by Makena Technologies, parent company of There.com, allows you to cross into the O.C. and go shopping for virtual clothes, frolic on the virtual beach and even create virtual drama like the characters on the MTV reality show. We weren't brave enough to go and look around (and, honestly, a day or two after show was dunzo our infatuation with Kristin Cavallari crashed like a lead kite) but the intrepid explorers at the MIT Advertising Lab brought back some reconnaissance. Thank Imaginary Forces for the pretty landscapes—the Los Angeles company designed many the graphical elements.
