In an effort to challenge the Australian advertising community to jump onboard the online bandwagon, Yahoo! Australia & NZ and agencies Host and The Glue Society have created an actual think tank. The transparent box is just large enough to fit a rotating team of creatives from The Glue Society and other Aussie agencies and all the necessary equipment of a self-sufficient studio. Over the course of 14 days (from November 3-17), the creatives will live in the box 24/7, taking creative briefs submitted by agencies or clients via the website
and generating ideas for those briefs in the span of five minutes—all while being observed through webcams and microphones. The purpose of the two-week spectacle is to promote the power of online creativity, as well as keep Australian advertisers on the cutting edge of the trend toward interactive marketing. Visitors to the site can also interact with think tankers by checking out the blog and submitting messages and suggestions for themes of the day.
