If it wasn't the Friday of the longest week EVER, surely we would have chosen a more serious ad. But "more nonsense for everyone" is truly the right tag line for the right advertiser at the right time. It's an obvious and purposefully bad montage of stock web detritus interspersed with silly graphics. So why isn't it just cloying or annoying? Why does it work? One word: charm. OK, two more words: stress kitty.
