At first glance, "Birdman" is strange—borderline disturbing, maybe. It seems like the Santo crew found a kindred spirit in Stylewar and went nuts on this spot, in which a starched shirt of a guy morphs into an insane, hybrid creature that takes on lo-fi characteristics of various humanoids, a feathered friend and Billy Bass, all of whom partake in his bottle of Coke. Germ issues aside, all the weirdness ultimately serves up a powerfully fizzy, feel good brand message that might sit just right with the folks in Atlanta. In a stealthy, dark kind of way, we think this adds another fine feather to Coke's increasingly prominent creative cap.
