ON A MISSION FOR MCCANN

McCann-Erickson Worldwide's Jo-Ann Munoz in May joined Gillespie, Princeton, N.J., a direct marketing shop newly acquired by McCann. She brought branding experience with clients such as Chesebrough-Pond's, Nabisco and Sprint. As senior VP at Gillespie, Ms. Munoz will be responsible for ongoing strategy for Columbia House and Electric Schoolhouse. "Clients are limited only to the degree that they can capture and then use the information about who is responding to their messages," she says. Ms. Munoz also helps craft strategy for new-business pitches.
