AD AGE TAPS ELKIN TO COVER TECH, ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIES

[new york] Veteran technology writer Tobi Elkin joins Advertising Age Aug. 9 as a reporter, covering computer marketing, consumer electronics and Internet issues.

She succeeds former Los Angeles Bureau Chief Bradley Johnson, now Ad Age's interactive editor.

Ms. Elkin currently is a freelance writer and editor, contributing to various consumer and trade publications. She has reported on technology for the past five years, first as a senior editor at Dealerscope, and more recently as a reporter at Brandweek.

"Tobi is an aggressive, experienced journalist who knows the business of marketing and technology," Mr. Johnson said. "She will report on some of the most important and dynamic industries, and will deliver the goods for Ad Age readers."
