CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Leo Burnett has named William Rosen president of Arc North America, its marketing-services arm. Mr. Rosen will continue to serve as Arc's chief creative officer, a position he has held since the company's 2004 founding. He was previously chief creative officer at Frankel, a promotions agency that was one of the companies Publicis Groupe combined to create Arc.
Mr. Rosen, 46, will be Arc's first North American president. He said in an interview that his new responsibilities previously were handled by Rich Stoddart, president of Leo Burnett USA. "I think we want someone sleeping and breathing Arc, day and night, and that's good for the organization," he said.
Mr. Stoddart said in a statement, "With his understanding of the rapidly evolving marketing-services world, Bill will continue moving our globally recognized brand clients to the leading edge of integrated campaigns."
Arc's clients include McDonald's, Procter & Gamble, United Airlines and MillerCoors.
