William Susetka Takes Over Post Vacant Since 2000

By Published on .

CINCINNATI (AdAge.com) -- Avon Products has named the former president of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.'s Clairol business as president-global marketing.

William Susetka, 48, takes over the Avon post Jan. 2 and will report to Susan J. Kropf, president-chief operating officer.

Mr. Susetka had headed the Clairol business since 1999 and been with the company since 1975 but is leaving following Procter & Gamble Co.'s acquisition of the unit last month.

He takes over a marketing post that has been vacant since former Avon marketing chief Lynn Emmolo resigned in November 2000.
