CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Nebraska-based Bailey Lauerman has hired Roman Paluta as VP-chief marketing officer.
Mr. Paluta, 49, a 20-year industry veteran, spent the past 10 years at Carmichael-Lynch, where he first led account management and spent his last eight years as CMO, leading new-business efforts. He helped lead the agency to account wins such as Subaru of North America, Noodles & Co., A.G. Edwards, Progressive's Drive insurance brand and Sierra Nevada beer. He previously worked at Leo Burnett and Campbell Mithun.
At Bailey Lauerman, Mr. Paluta will be charged with expanding a client roster that already includes the likes of Allstate, TD Ameritrade and ConAgra Foods. The shop, which has offices in Omaha and Lincoln, posted U.S. revenue of $9.1 million during 2008, up 3.7% from a year earlier.
