Top photogs Scavullo, David Bailey, Annie Leibovitz are in there, along with essays by Mizrahi, Sandra Bernhard, Isabella Rossellini. Iman pens her own story from an African childhood to working with Saint Laurent, Calvin, Donna Karan, Issey Miyaki, Versace et al. At 45 bucks, sounds like Christmas buy.

How vapid can you get? The New York Times' "Style" section reports Denise Richards' designer-daughter Ilona, who fled Manhattan for Southampton, as saying: "Not that Long Island is that safe. Where do you go if you have to evacuate? Who wants to be freezing on a boat off Long Island. I think we should all relocate to the Bahamas and start businesses there." She's her mother's daughter, all right.

Also, Fairchild's Footwear News has a new publisher, Andrew Amill, formerly at Family PC mag and publisher of Us. And Dan Bagan's new pub director for their Supermarket News. Both men reporting to Mike DeBartolo.
