CHICAGO ( -- Patrick Sherwood, the president and CEO of Chemistri, Leo Burnett Worldwide's dedicated General Motors Corp. agency, is leaving at the end of June to "explore other ventures," according to a statement from Burnett.

Mr. Sherwood, previously president of D'Arcy North America, launched the Troy, Mich.-based Chemistri in March 2003. That new agency consolidated global relationships between GM and Leo Burnett parent Publicis Groupe.

Chemistri's chairman and chief creative officer, Gary Topolewski, and chief operating officer, D. Stan Fields III, will work closely with Tom Bernardin, president of Leo Burnett Worldwide and CEO of Leo Burnett USA, "on the further evolution of the innovative marketing communications agency," the statement said.

Chemistri's clients include Cadillac, Pontiac, GM Service and Parts Operations, and several global GM operations.
