He will be responsible for all Hispanic marketing efforts for McDonald's U.S. and will oversee the company's Hispanic advertising agency, Omnicom Group's del Rivero Messianu, Coral Gables, Fla.

John Fitzgerald, 54, to president and chief operating officer at Interpublic Group of Cos.' Mullen/LHC, Winston-Salem, N.C., from Growth Solutions Group, a consulting group in Westport, Conn. The presidency had been vacant since January. Mullen/LHC had no chief operating officer previously.
