Oxygen's Charlie Collier to Take Over as Exec VP of Advertising

By Published on .

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Court TV has named Charlie Collier as its new executive vice president of advertising sales, replacing Gig Barton, who left the network, according to a spokeswoman.

The spokeswoman said Mr. Barton had left Court TV to pursure other opportunities. Mr. Collier had been senior vice president of sponsorship sales at Oxygen.

At the time of Mr. Barton's departure, an executive close to the situation had said a replacement for Mr. Barton would come from outside Court TV.

Mr. Barton had worked at Court TV since Steven Brill ran the network, which is now partly owned by AOL Time Warner and Liberty Media.
