CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Independent Chicago shop Schafer Condon Carter has named David Selby president.
Mr. Selby, 52, most recently served as managing director of executive-search firm Russell Reynolds' marketing-officer practice. The 18-year Leo Burnett veteran, has also held top marketing jobs at Sears and Potbelly Sandwich Works.
In his newly created position at SCC, he'll report to CEO Tim Condon and will be charged with "refining processes for maintaining SCC's superior creative product; integrated, idea-driven approach; and unique entrepreneurial culture," according to a press release.
"As SCC strives to best meet the evolving needs of our client partners, David's experience as a successful client-side marketer will be an invaluable additional asset to their businesses," Mr. Condon said in the release. "His agency background on some of the world's top brands will also be of great value to SCC as we continue on our path of steady growth."
