DRAFT CONSOLIDATES ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT

Other Appointments Come as Pres-COO Rednor Prepares for Move to IPG

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Interpublic Group of Cos.' DraftWorldwide reorganized its executive ranks in anticipation of President-Chief Operating Officer Jordan Rednor's move to an unspecified position at the holding company.

David Florence, previously president of DraftWorldwide, New York, was promoted to international president in charge of Draft's offices in 30 countries outside the U.S. Mr. Florence, 49, takes sole control of all non-U.S. operations, a charge previously shared by Mr. Rednor and Valerie Taylor, who was European president.

Ms. Taylor decided to leave DraftWorldwide to pursue other opportunities, Mr. Rednor told Adage.com.

the international operations in one person's hands," Chairman-CEO Howard Draft told Adage.com. Mr. Florence, who will remain based in New York, was executive vice president and director of European operations at Draft from 1988 to 1993.

New York successor
Succeeding Mr. Florence as president of the New York office is Laurence Boschetto, 48, previously general manager of the 400-person shop. Mr. Boschetto became general manager in 1997 when his agency, Adler Boschetto Peebles, was acquired by Draft.

Meanwhile, Mr. Rednor said the specifics of his pending move to the holding company level have not yet been decided.

"I'm still here at DraftWorldwide helping [Mr. Florence] transition," he said.

DraftWorldwide will not fill the chief operating officer post after Mr. Rednor leaves, Mr. Draft said.
