Headquarters EP Tom Mooney announced that he is closing the 14-year-old shop he founded with director David Cornell and is onto his next big thing, this time teaming with none other than Joe Pytka. The yet to be named bicoastal production outfit, which opened on Feb. 1, aims to address changing tides in advertising and production. Operating under the Pytka umbrella, the company will be a vehicle for advertising creatives to direct while remaining at their agency gigs. Pytka will be on hand to mentor the directors, while L.A.-based EP Tara Fitzpatrick and Mooney, who will be EP out of N.Y., will oversee production. Mooney also has plans to make the N.Y. hub a think tank for creatives to discuss the changing ad game. . . . Audio postproduction company Photomag has changed its name to PostWorks Midtown and added video postproduction services. . . . Former Crossroads Films EP Charlie Curran has launched Nola, a New York-based production company, representing directors Ken Morrison, Jerry Simpson and Kim Dempster. . . . Leo Burnett/Detroit and sister agency Arc Worldwide have launched Arc Detroit, a partnership to create nontraditional marketing. The venture will be housed in the Leo Burnett offices. . . . San Francisco-based Lunar Design has opened an office in Hong Kong. The new shop will be led by Andrew Zee, former director of engineering at Lunar/S.F.
