Epsilon Names Andrew Frawley President-Digital, John Colasanti Leaving Carmichael Lynch

Epsilon tapped customer-marketing pioneer Andrew Frawley as president-digital services. Mr. Frawley spent time at Epsilon early in his career and was most recently CEO of ClickTactics, later named ClickSquared. In the 1990s, he founded and led Exchange Applications, deploying the market-leading Xchange suite of marketing applications for brands around the world. Epsilon is a leading marketing-services firm and the world's largest permission-based e-mail marketer.

Carmichael Lynch CEO John Colasanti announced that he is leaving the Minneapolis ad agency effective April 1, 2009. Initially hired in a new-business capacity in 1994, Mr. Colasanti rose through the management ranks, running the Harley-Davidson account, leading the account group and serving as managing partner, president and most recently as CEO. During his 15 year tenure, the agency has more than doubled in size and won high-profile businesses including Subaru of America, the largest client ever landed by a Minneapolis-based agency. Mr. Colasanti said he is considering brand-marketing opportunities outside of the agency.

Anne Kubek has been appointed exec VP-merchandising and marketing at Borders. Ms. Kubek has been with the company since 1990, beginning her career as an assistant manager of a Borders store in Rockville, Maryland. She came to the corporate office in 1996 and most recently served as president of Borders Stores, a post she held since 2005.

Susan Allyn was named VP-customer acquisition for Hearst Magazines. As TV Guide's VP-circulation and marketing director since 2005, she was most recently responsible for managing the magazine's circulation program. Ms. Allyn was inducted into the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Circulation Hall of Fame in February 2008 and is the fourth female in 20 years to be honored.

Susan Leiterstein joined ContentNext Media as head of sales. She was most recently VP-publisher of Incisive Media's ClickZ, SearchEngineWatch and SES Events. In her new role at the information company, the parent of paidContent.org, she will manage and build the ContentNext sales team and secure new accounts. Ms. Leiterstein has also held senior posts at JupiterMedia, Cowles Business Media, Thomson and McGraw Hill, Inc.

Jana Friedman was promoted to senior VP-worldwide advertising sales at Double Fusion. Ms. Friedman, who previously served as VP-sales for the company's Casual Games Group, brings more than a decade of advertising and media experience to the in-game advertising network. She has served as associate publisher of Brides.com and senior director-online ad sales at Electronic Arts, where she pioneered some of the ad industry's first video-game deals.

Wiredset named Grant Johmann senior VP-marketing. Prior to joining the digital agency, Mr. Johmann was director-online marketing for Elektra Records, where he managed campaigns for artists including Metallica, Missy Elliott and Staind.

John Rowley has joined Alloy Media/Alloy Marketing & Promotions as VP- business development, where he will be charged with advancing the company's nontraditional youth-marketing services. He comes from The Brand Consultancy, where he was partner.
