Euro RSCG Gives New Responsibilities to Four Execs

Euro RSCG Worldwide has announced several newly created regional management roles in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific: Christian de La Villehuchet will join Andreas Geyr to take on the additional role of CEOs of Euro RSCG Europe. Ricardo Monteiro has been named CEO of Euro RSCG Ibero-America. Additionally, Juan Rocamora will take on the role of chairman of Euro RSCG Asia Pacific. Mr. De La Villehuchet joined Euro in 1990 and most recently served as CEO of Euro RSCG Benelux Group and a managing director of Euro RSCG Europe. Mr. Geyr, currently the CEO of Central Europe, joined Euro RSCG Germany as CEO in 2005. Mr. Monteiro, CEO of Euro RSCG Portugal and Euro RSCG Latin America, joined Euro RSCG in 1999 as CEO of the agency in Lisbon and the Euro RSCG group of companies. Mr. Rocamora, most recently CEO of Euro RSCG Southern Europe and chairman and CEO of Euro RSCG Spain, will relinquish his Spain duties but will continue to oversee Euro RSCG in several countries across Southern Europe, while working closely with Olivier Pluquet, CEO of Euro RSCG Asia Pacific.

DraftfFCB has hired Laura Maness to lead new business efforts for the agency's West Coast offices as VP-director of business development. Ms. Maness joins DraftFCB from WPP/ Wunderman-owned Designkitchen, where she was director of business development. Under her leadership, the agency added clients including Allstate, Abbott Laboratories, NAVTEQ and Sears. Her career also includes work at agencies such as Publicis/ Leo Burnett's digital arm, Giant Step (now Arc Worldwide), and Black Dog Interactive in roles across both account management and new business.

Young & Rubicam, New York, has appointed Amy Fuller as exec VP-global client leader. Ms. Fuller returns to Young & Rubicam from MasterCard, where she spent the past six years, serving most recently as exec VP-group executive, worldwide consumer marketing. Prior to MasterCard, she was senior partner-account managing director at Young & Rubicam, New York, driving the agency's AT&T consumer and corporate business. Ms. Fuller also spent time at former Y&R/Dentsu joint venture The Lord Group, where her accounts included Verizon and Kraft, and Ogilvy & Mather, where she worked on AT&T, Kraft and Kimberly-Clark.

Linda Waste has joined DDB Chicago in the new position of senior VP-director of talent management. In this role, Linda will concentrate on supporting a culture that is focused on all things talent, in terms. Most recently, Ms. Waste was with Energy BBDO, where she served as senior VP-director of talent and human resources for the past seven years.

Media-solutions company Ecast has hired Dan Ackerman as VP-advertising sales. Most recently, Mr. Ackerman was VP- worldwide sales and business development for Jivox, a privately held online video ad technology start-up. Before that, he spent over a decade at CBS as an advertising sales executive. He has also held sponsorship sales positions with the NFL, NBA and NHL for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals, respectively.

Citadel Broadcasting Corporation has promoted Robert Mathers from senior director-digital content to the newly created position of VP-digital operations. Mr. Mathers joined ABC Radio Networks in 2006 as director-digital content and was promoted to senior director-digital content for Citadel following the company's acquisition of ABC Radio. His industry experience also includes eight years with Clear Channel in New York, where he oversaw digital operations for the company's stations.

Mark Riggs has joined Bazaarvoice as chief client officer. Prior to Bazaarvoice, Mr. Riggs served as senior VP-worldwide customer solutions at Endeca Technologies. Before that, he was at Business Objects, where he was VP-global services, first for North America and then Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Riggs' position is a newly created one for the company, which just celebrated its fifth anniversary last month, as well as new partnerships with Nielsen and Google to help its clients extend the value of their social-commerce implementation.
