Marketing Divisions Latest to See Management Changes

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- AOL Time Warner's America Online continues shuffling its executive suite, this time the marketing ranks.

The online unit today named Robert Sherman, formerly president of Time Warner Cable Advertising Sales, president of interactive marketing.

30-year ad sales veteran, replaces Robert Friedman, who was in the role for a year and now moves to the newly created post of senior vice president of corporate marketing for AOL Time Warner.

Mr. Sherman reports to AOL Interactive Services President Jimmy de Castro; Mr. Friedman reports to Mayo Stuntz, executive vice president of AOL Time Warner.

Mr. Friedman, a former movie and music promotions executive, is charged with creating integrated and cross-divisional marketing programs.

Today's moves are the third in a wave of changes made by AOL Time Warner's chief operating officer-elect, Bob Pittman, in recent weeks as the company moves to bolster sagging ad revenue.
