NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Shops within Interpublic Group of Cos. and Omnicom Group have made executive-level changes in their Latin American agencies.

Steve Burton, 49, is replacing Eduardo Fernandez Ribeiro, 44, as president of DDB Latin America, part of Omnicom.

Mr. Ribeiro will become president of DDB Costa Rica and regional director of DDB Central America.

Meanwhile, Interpublic's Lowe Group Executive Vice President Peter Minnium was named president of Lowe Lintas & Partners Latin America, replacing Gunther Saupe, who will run Lowe Lintas Mexico as chairman-CEO.
