Agency Veteran Steve Neely to Work on Special Projects

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide promoted San Francisco agency veteran Steve Neely to a new post heading production for all of the agency's North America offices.

In his new role as head of production, Mr. Neely will help oversee production at all FCB offices in North America, including Chicago; Irvine, Calif.; New York; Seattle; and Toronto. He will remain based in San Francisco. His promotion was announced today by Jonathan Harries, FCB's worldwide creative director.

Mr. Neely, 52, who has been with FCB since 1977, had held the title of deputy executive creative director of the San Francisco office. FCB is part of Interpublic Group of Cos.

that as FCB moves to more fully integrate its offices, he will be working with directors of broadcast production Deborah Sullivan in New York and Mike Leary in Chicago, among others.

"I will be working on special projects," he said, such as pitches and other work that would elevate the agency's creative product.

Most recently, he worked with Tom O'Keefe on the Yum Brands' Taco Bell account and other San Francisco office projects. Mr. O'Keefe last week was named executive creative director of the FCB Chicago office.

Early in his career, Mr. Neely worked on award-winning ad campaigns for Levi Strauss & Co. under the late Mike Koelker, who was creative director of the agency at the time.
