Company Developing Multimedia Displays

By Published on .

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Phil Guarascio, former vice president of advertising and corporate marketing at General Motors Corp., was named chairman of the board at AdSpace Networks, a digital out-of-home media company.

The 3-year-old Burlingame, Calif.-based company is building a national network of multimedia displays -- called CoolSign -- in airports, movie theaters, transit stations, stadiums and shopping malls that resemble posters but have full-motion video and sound capabilities.

Mr. Guarascio, who retired from GM in May, will assume a non-executive role at AdSpace.
