Tom Scarpello was a manager of marketing and sales at Jaguar parent Ford Motor Co.'s Special Vehicle Team unit. He succeeds George Ayres, who was reassigned to sales and marketing in Ford's performance division.
Mr. Scarpello, who also had a two-year stint at Ford of Mexico through 1998 as strategic planning manager, will report to C.J. O'Donnell, executive vice president for marketing and sales for Jaguar North America.
Jaguar, meanwhile, is looking for a consultant to handle its global review.
