John Cantarella has been promoted to senior VP-digital, Time Inc. Business, News and Sports Group. He will oversee CNNMoney.com, Time.com, SI.com, Golf.com and LIFE.com. As general manager of Time.com for the past three years, Mr. Cantarella has overseen redesigns of the site, the launch of the popular political site The Page, the release of Blackberry and iPhone apps and numerous other product launches.
Brett Wilson has been named publisher of Parade, where he will be responsible for all advertising sales and marketing efforts. Mr. Wilson comes to Parade from USA Today, where he was senior VP-advertising sales. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at Time Inc., where he was most recently publisher of Money magazine.
Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings has hired Debbie Reichig as senior VP-business development and marketing, a newly created position. Previously, Ms. Reichig was the principal at In-Focus Media Consulting, developing sales strategies for key clients including Weather Channel, Rainbow Media and Current Media. Prior to that, she served as senior VP-market development at NBC Universal. Ms. Reichig was recognized by Advertising Age in its "Women to Watch" list in 2006.
Serena Duff has joined Horizon Media as exec VP-managing partner for its Los Angeles office. Most recently, Ms. Duff was at Universal McCann as senior VP-communications planning, working on accounts including Sony Pictures, Zicam and Southern Comfort. Prior to McCann, Serena spent four years at OMD, New York, as client communications director. She also worked at TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York, as a media director.
Buzzmedia has added Chris George to the company as senior VP-integrated marketing and operations. Mr. George comes to the company from MySpace, where he developed the company's monetization strategy and was instrumental in launching a full suite of advertising products. He has also held management positions at IGN Entertainment and FCB in San Francisco.
Sapient Interactive has tapped Eric Healy as VP-marketing services. Mr. Healy comes to the interactive marketing agency from Aegis, where he served as exec VP-corporate development and was responsible for all strategic partnership and investment activity for Aegis Media North America and Aegis' digital marketing services arm, Isobar. Prior to that, he served as senior VP-director of interactive at Mullen, where he developed the agency's digital offering.
YTL Hotels has appointed Sarah Cairns as exec VP-marketing communications. Based in Singapore, she will be responsible for YTL Hotel's worldwide marketing and PR. Ms. Cairns was most recently with Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles, as director of PR for close to six years. Ms. Cairns' new position is a homecoming: Before moving to North America, she worked for a number of luxury hotel companies in Southeast Asia, including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Regent International.
Adconion Media Group has named Cliff Paulson VP-North America Video. A 14-year media veteran, Mr. Paulson was most recently VP-sales at video advertising provider ScanScout, and he has also spent time at Vibrant Media, Fox and CBS. Adconion is an independent global audience and content network.
