Graham Woodall Had Been With D'Arcy

By Published on .

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- The Chicago office of WPP Group's J. Walter Thompson has a new creative chief.

Graham Woodall, the former chief creative at D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York, has been named the agency's executive creative director, said an executive familiar with the situation.

Mr. Woodall replaces Rick Kemp, who departed earlier this spring to become vice president and creative director at Grey Global Group's Grey Worldwide, Toronto.

Mr. Woodall was the top creative at D'Arcy from 1997 until 2003. He left after D'Arcy was dismantled when its holding company, Bcom3 Group, was acquired by Publicis Groupe. Before that he held high-level creative positions with D'Arcy and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in Asia.
