Cheryl Berman, Mark Tutssel Get New Roles Within Network
The Publicis Groupe agency today said it is launching a six- to 12-month search to replace Ms. Berman, who is U.S. chief creative officer. Ms. Berman, who will retain her title of chairman of Leo Burnett North America, will assume a broader role within the agency.

In addition, Mark Tutssel, vice chairman and regional creative director of Leo Burnett North America, is being named deputy chief creative officer for Leo Burnett Worldwide.
The announcement comes six months after Tom Bernardin, CEO of Leo Burnett USA and president of Leo Burnett Worldwide, reorganized the creative department to give Ms. Berman and Mr. Tutssel's lieutenants more autonomy. He said he made the moves with Ms. Berman's succession in mind.
Ms. Berman will continue as chief creative while she and newly appointed Leo Burnett USA President Rich Stoddart identify her successor. Mr. Tutssel will assist Ms. Berman and Mr. Stoddart in the search, which will look at internal and external candidates.
