Matthew Palmer, formerly senior VP-marketing for Walt Disney Co., was appointed exec VP-general manager at Stardoll. Los Angeles-based Stardoll is a fashion-focused social-networking site for girls.

Clarice Turner became president-chief operating officer at pizza chain Papa Murphy's International, Vancouver, Wash. She shifts from Yum Brands, where she most recently held an executive management position and worked on the Taco Bell brand.

G2 Direct & Digital, New York, brought on Christopher Abelt to serve as managing director-financial service group. During his 25-year career, Mr. Abelt has overseen financial-service accounts at DDB Needham, Wells Rich Greene BDDP and U.K.-based Gate Worldwide.
