Richard Gay took on the role of exec VP-strategy and business operations at Viacom's VH1 and CMT, New York. Previously, he was senior VP-strategy and business operations, VH1 and CMT.

David Botkin was named senior VP-research and audience analytics at CBS Interactive, New York. Mr. Botkin has spent the past five years at eBay, holding several positions including director-relationship marketing and director-business analytics.

Publicis Groupe, Paris, hired Martine Hue as investor-relations director. Ms. Hue was most recently VP-investor relations at Arcelor Mittal, a Luxembourg-based steel company.

Out-of-home specialist Titan Worldwide, New York, promoted a pair of executives. Scott E. Goldsmith, 39, became exec VP-general counsel (he was formerly senior VP-general counsel), and Craig Abolt, 45, was elevated to exec VP-chief financial officer from CFO.

Bryan Hadlock will be the first agencywide chief creative officer at Marc USA, Pittsburgh. Mr. Hadlock was formerly president-chief creative officer at the shop's Indianapolis office.

Eric Greenwald joined Pasadena, Calif.-based Whyville.com as exec VP-advertising sales and business development. Before shifting to Whyville, a tween-oriented virtual world, Mr. Greenwald was senior VP-new media sales and marketing at DIC Entertainment.

Nielsen Co., Chicago, tapped Patricia Andrews-Keenan for the role of VP-communications and community affairs. She was formerly VP-community affairs for Comcast's greater-Chicago region.
