NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Universal McCann has promoted Donna Wolfe to director of broadcast, succeeding Bill Cella, who became chairman of Magna Global, a media negotiating company formed by parent Interpublic Group of Cos. this past summer.

Ms. Wolfe had worked closely with Mr. Cella at Universal McCann, where she was an executive vice president.

She also will chair Universal McCann's Cross Media Council, which was established earlier this year to negotiate cross-media buys with media companies, and she will be on Magna Global's advisory council as well.

Ms. Wolfe joined McCann in 1988 as senior vice president, director of national television negotiations.
